About the Speakers:
Philip Oaten, President & CEO, Meperia, LLC
A visionary entrepreneur, Oaten brings over 25 years of broad-based domestic and international business experience to his position as President and CEO of Meperia. Prior to founding Meperia, Oaten has spent the last 15 years building successful businesses in the area of content management for healthcare.

In his role as general manager at GHX, Oaten was responsible for the conception and successful introduction of NuVia by GHX, where he had day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of business operations. As chief executive officer and a founding partner of Inobis, Oaten was instrumental in the creation of data cleansing as a new healthcare market segment for content management services.

Previous business experience includes executive level positions in healthcare consulting, academic medical centers, and consumer goods manufacturing. He is a graduate of the University of Wales.

Scott Pruyn, Product Manager, McKesson Strategic Supply Sourcing, McKesson Provider Technologies

Scott Pruyn is product manager for McKesson Strategic Supply Sourcing. He works closely with the ERP sales team and McKesson Strategic Supply Sourcing customers.

Pruyn has more than 20 years experience in healthcare supply chain and has held various position in supply chain automation with McKesson including product management, consulting, implementation, and support. Pruyn has held similar positions at Medibuy, Medline, and Enterprise Systems, Inc. with an emphasis on materials management information systems and analytical tools.

Pruyn holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Winona State University, Minnesota, He is a member of the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
