AHRMM Hosts Technology Summit in Atlanta
CHICAGO, September 17, 2002 - The Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) of the American Hospital Association will host an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technology Summit, September 20-22, 2002 in Atlanta, Georgia.
"The role that ERP technology plays in our members' facilities expands each year," said Deborah Sprindzunas, AHRMM executive director. "We want to provide a comprehensive review of the technology growth areas and provide our members the tools needed to make educated decisions about the important dimensions and future use of ERP systems. The Summit gives leadership the opportunity to learn and work collaboratively with the ERP developers."
AHRMM designed the unique educational meeting to showcase evolving ERP capabilities and services for healthcare. Participating organizations that include Cerner, Lawson, McKesson, and PeopleSoft, will present an early look at emerging products and services for the healthcare resource and materials management industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about these technology growth areas and provide feedback. The Summit will end with attendee-generated guidelines for the AHRMM membership later posted on the AHRMM Web site.
