AHRMM Offers Scholarships to Attend Georgetown University Healthcare Leadership Institute Program

Chicago, February 14, 2003 - AHRMM announced that applications are being accepted for attending he Georgetown University Healthcare Leadership Institute Program. Supported by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation and AHRMM and scheduled for July 13-18, 2003, the Healthcare Leadership Institute Program is designed to promote collaboration between resource and materials management professionals and perioperative nursing executives.

Scholarships are awarded for one resource and materials management professional and one perioperative nurse executive from the same institution to attend the week-long conference on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. This includes the registration fee, tuition, course materials, certificate, breakfasts, lunches, reception, banquet dinner, airfare, and lodging.

In addition, participants will spend time on Capitol Hill being briefed by key legislative staffers on current health policy issues. The application deadline is May 12, 2003.
