AHRMM to Launch First Technology Conference

CHICAGO, May 10, 2005— The Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) of the American Hospital Association will host its inaugural Healthcare Supply Chain Technology Conference & Exhibition at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers from March 12-14, 2006, in Chicago, IL. This conference is the nation’s only event dedicated exclusively to healthcare supply chain technology.

“Technology continues to change the face of supply chain management,” said Deborah Sprindzunas, AHRMM executive director. “Our members have requested additional educational opportunities in this area and we’re pleased that this conference will help them keep pace with the latest offerings and capabilities in healthcare supply chain technology .”

The conference will focus on innovative supply chain programs and processes that help to improve service. Solutions for healthcare organizations will be outlined in the context of technology.
