Becoming a Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP), the premier national supply chain credential, provides supply chain professionals distinction in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Eligibility requirements include a blend of education and experience, in addition passing the 110-question CMRP Examination. This four-hour refresher course provides an overview of the CMRP Examination, including the role of the American Hospital Association, the exam content areas and the types of questions asked. During a review of the Materials Management Review Guide 5th edition, participants will discuss sample exam questions and the reasoning behind those answers.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the “basics” of the CMRP Certification exam, including the role of the AHA-CC, exam eligibility, the five major content areas, and cognitive levels (“types of questions”).
  • Identify and obtain CMRP preparation resources based on your learning preferences and area(s) of focus.
  • Develop a personalized CMRP study plan to prioritize, schedule, and record CMRP study sessions.
  • Answer 70+ practice questions.
  • Discuss reasoning, tips, and techniques with the presenters and other participants.
