AHRMM17 CQO Summit White Paper
CQO and Population Health Management
In 2014, AHRMM hosted the first Cost, Quality, and Outcomes (CQO) Summit to bring healthcare thought leaders together to discuss particular supply chain issues and concerns. The results of those conversations were used to develop the first task force and to shape the agenda for the second CQO Summit, held in 2015. This white paper was written as a recap of the AHRMM17 CQO Summit, held in July 2017 in Washington, D.C.
The AHRMM17 CQO Summit brought together more than 120 healthcare executives and leaders representing a variety of organizations across the field. The AHRMM17 CQO Summit included interactive presentations, roundtable and panel discussions, moderated by Karen Conway, CMRP, executive director, industry relations at GHX and AHRMM board chair.
AHRMM Chair-Elect, Teresa Dail, RN, BSN, CMRP, set the stage for the Summit’s lineup of distinguished presenters on topics related to population health management. She pointed out how healthcare organizations must work to understand what their patients and communities want, and then use that knowledge to deliver care differently.
