Patrice (Pat) Kelly is responsible for the oversight of all operating rooms, PACU, ambulatory surgery units, endoscopy, pain management, central sterile processing, and pre-surgical testing at South Nassau Communities Hospital.

Prior to joining South Nassau, Ms. Kelly was an Administrator at Roosevelt Surgery Center in New York City, leading executive and operational oversight of a start-up ambulatory surgery center that was a joint venture between Roosevelt Hospital, 26 physician partners, and the Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America. Before that, she served as Executive Director of Perioperative Services at Stamford Hospital for three years. In this position, she was responsible for the oversight of the surgical services department, which encompasses nine operating rooms, as well as a PACU, CPD, ambulatory surgical center with six operating rooms, and an outpatient infusion center. Through this, Ms. Kelly managed a total of 15 cost centers, 217 full-time employees, and an operating budget of approximately $38.7 million dollars. Her experience also includes roles in perioperative services, in-patient surgical services, and clinical nurse management at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center.

Ms. Kelly received her Masters of Science from Molloy College in Rockville Center, New York. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Association of Operating Room Nurses, and Sigma Theta Thai (Nursing Honor Society). Ms. Kelly has certifications from the Certified Nurse-Operating Room (CNOR) and Advisory Board for Surgical Technology- Eastwick College.
