Lola Brysz is the Vice President of the Hospital Market Segment for UMR, the nation’s largest third party administrator for medical plans. Her responsibilities include supporting the sales and account management staff by providing information on benefit design strategy and health care benefit trends as well as engaging in stewardship activities for current hospital customers. She has over 25 years of human resources experience working as an executive in health care and her organization was a prior UMR customer. She also has health care association and for-profit experience while working in Chicago and Minneapolis. Ms. Brysz has spoken nationally on such topics as employee engagement, health and wellness and human resource strategy. She is the past president of the Indiana Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administrators (ISHRRA). She received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary of-the-Woods College and her MBA from the Leighton School of Business and Economics at Indiana University. Ms. Brysz also holds her CEBS designation..
