Continuing Education Credits (CECs)
Support Health Care Excellence Through Education
Ongoing education plays an important role in staying current with the industry’s best practices, no matter your position in the world of Supply Chain. AHRMM’s Continuing Education Credits (CECs) support that by recognizing learning activities that help professionals grow their knowledge, maintain certifications, and expand their possibilities.
AHRMM offers its Chapters and Organizations the option to apply for CEC approval for a range of educational formats—whether it’s a one-time event, virtual training series, or a full conference. Approved programs can also support participants working toward or maintaining designations such as the CMRP, AHRMM Fellow, and FACHE.
What are AHRMM CECs?
Continuing Education Credit (CEC) hours are used for renewal of the Certified Materials & Resource Professional Certification (CMRP) credential. A CEC hour is defined as 50 to 60 minutes of educational experience. To qualify for credit, all activities must be at least 30 minutes and must be reported in 30 to 60-minute increments. Activities must be educational, non-commercial, and deliver best practices, case studies, resources, and/or solutions relating to the CMRP designation as outlined in the Certification Examination Guide.
AHRMM CECs provide:
- Recognition: Strengthen your organization's reputation as a trusted thought leader by aligning with AHRMM and the American Hospital Association.
- Career Advancement: Help your staff or members grow into leadership roles.
- Relevancy: Keep your teams sharp and up-to-date in a fast-changing healthcare environment.
- Networking: Connect your organization and participants with a national professional community.
