This session provides an update on the progress to create national standards for the Bill Only process, led by an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Committee through the Healthcare Standards Institute. The committee includes over 30 organizations including Providers, Industry Partners, ERP and Solutions providers, AHRMM, AdvaMed, and the FDA among others. The standard follows strict guidelines to ensure fairness and transparency. It will also highlight synergies with other industry initiatives like UDI adoption and recall management. The session will cover current challenges, the committee’s progress and how a standardized approach will benefit all stakeholders

Our 45+ hospital system in Louisiana services a community challenged with natural disasters and a variety of threats to supply chain stability. Supply Chain resiliency is of utmost importance to our organization. We are on the road to developing infrastructure for improved visibility to supply availability and demand planning analytics to better manage the unexpected. We intend to use this developing infrastructure to better support our clinicians and in turn our patients.
