Procurement and Product Value Analysis
This course discusses the processes and methods used for purchasing, including contract negotiations, contract terminology, key legal issues, and vendor management and evaluation.
Format: This program is a 4-week virtual cohort from October 2025. It includes 4 live sessions (1-hour weekly presentations, that will also be available on-demand).
Continuing Education: Completing this program earns 6 CECs - applicable for ACHE credits.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Identify key components of (and documents used in) the purchasing process.
- Explain product selection methods.
- Explain the contract negotiation process and roles.
- Determine the key legal terms to potentially include in purchase orders and in contracts.
- Define key legal and ethical considerations.
